The villa’s furnishings are crafted on-site, reflecting a blend of luxury and sustainability. The resort grows much of its own produce and practices composting and water conservation. Their SLOW philosophy—Sustainable, Local, Organic, and Wellness-focused—is evident throughout the resort.

Service at Soneva Fushi is renowned, particularly through the Soneva host "Mr. or Mrs. Friday" concept, where each villa is assigned a dedicated butler. These butlers handle everything from dining reservations to excursions, ensuring a seamless experience. However, there were some inconsistencies in the restaurant service, with occasional delays and missed orders, suggesting room for improvement in this area. Despite this, the hospitality was fantastic within the resort, and does not change Soneva Fushi's offerings.

For a fly-and-flop beach trip, Soneva Fushi is sensational. It offers an ideal blend of luxury and simplicity, with a strong commitment to sustainability. While it has become more commercialized compared to its original simplicity, it still retains a unique charm. Perfect for group gatherings or a laid-back retreat, the resort caters to those seeking a genuine barefoot luxury experience.
